Ibogaine provides a safe, effective, and gentle detox and cleanse from a wide range of opioids such as heroin, methadone, buprenorphine (Subutex or Suboxone – NB special protocols apply), and OxyContin. Our medically based ibogaine treatment clinic (and retreat center) is conveniently located approximately 2 hours from Lisbon International Airport in Portugal. We are housed at Quinta da Fe (the aptly named Farm of Faith). Our quaint boutique hotel is traditionally decorated with an Alentejan flavour; it is luxurious and spacious. Tabula Rasa Retreat is a 5-bedroom countryside property set in a beautiful 9 hectare setting. Clients are often in awe of the silence and beauty of the space. Many providers claim that Ibogaine treatment is effective in alleviating upwards of 98% of all withdrawal symptoms associated with opioid and stimulant withdrawal, as well as significantly reducing post-acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS). Who are our Patients, who do we accept for ibogaine treatment?
We generally treat adults suffering from drug dependency issues as well as those suffering from mental health problems, and, people often come with a dual-diagnosis. Ibogaine treatment is also effective at providing much needed relief from poly-substance abuse and misuse disorders. Some clients come to us for psycho-spiritual purposes too… to free themselves… to find answers… and most come for a combination of all ibogaine treatment has to offer.
We can only treat underage patients with parental consent and in very special cases.
Medical Screening
It is no surprise that our main job, every day is to exclude as many clients as possible, this might sound cruel… why? Unless you are medically screened and vetted for treatment, we are not able to consider you for ibogaine treatment. We hear things such as, “ibogaine treatment center such and such will do ibogaine without all this testing…” well we simply don’t and won’t. Why? Because your life matters to us, and we prefer to not take on risky clients.
In our opinion, whilst Ibogaine treatment is the most effective and painless, drug detoxification that currently exists on our planet; not everyone is a suitable candidate and nor is ibogaine treatment a viable option for all.

Whilst the physical site of Tabula Rasa Retreat (famously known as Europe’s preferred ibogaine treatment center) has been at the Quinta da Fe since 2018, we have been involved in providing ibogaine treatment for close to 10 years. It was a natural progression to bring all our experiences into a fully-fledged and operational center such as this. Our focus is on safety and longevity in recovery. We have been ‘helping people help themselves’ for close to a decade. This is why we decided to offer FREE online meetings every Sunday to our clients. We care about you, your on-going care and wellbeing.
