Cocaine and Crack
Tabula Rasa Retreat’s detox program has been created to address the aggressive nature of cocaine and crack addiction, effectively combatting the repetitive abuse of stimulants and the unmanageable cravings that come with it.
The effects of cocaine and crack addiction are numerous, causing damage to the brain, heart, intestines, kidneys, and sexual function. Ibogaine, as part of our treatment program, is designed to repair these affected areas of the body and to reduce neurological cravings for stimulants. Studies have shown that ibogaine can repair synapses damaged by cocaine use.
While ibogaine can help to replenish baseline dopamine and serotonin levels, and reduce cravings, it may not be a complete solution to ending addiction. It is important to note that not all users will be freed from their cravings and that some may require our fully integrated, holistic aftercare plan to help make the necessary lifestyle changes.
Prior to beginning the treatment program, it is essential that all participants abstain from stimulant use for three days, including cocaine, methamphetamine, ephedra, Ritalin, Vyvanse, Adderall, and other ADHD medications. A thorough medical check and urine sample will be performed upon arrival at our retreat to ensure that the 72-hour break from stimulants has been adhered to.
Please note that if the three-day abstinence protocol has not been observed, we may not be able to fit you in for an extra three days, depending on availability of rooms at the time. This is why it is essential that our clients observe our treatment protocols, even though the idea of abstinence prior to entering rehab may seem difficult to navigate.
With ibogaine therapy, we offer a pathway to a bright future, a new beginning, and a return to your authentic self. Our treatment can help you find the peace and insight necessary to make the right decisions and the resolve to stay clean.
